"Experience the joys of sea kayaking through La Concha Bay in a guided tour. Float past historical buildings, paddle through a nature-filled island or take in the panorama of the Donostia skyline from the sea."
Beaches of fine sand contrast with sharp cliffs. In our agile boats we can explore the most hidden corners.
The crossing starts at the Ondarreta beach in the La Concha bay. An expert guide instructs us on the basics of security and paddling. Attending his advice we went to visit the most emblematic places of the bay and enjoy the best views of Donostia.
Depending on the desires and the conditions of the sea, we can leave the bay and explore the skirt of Mount Igeldo. It is a mass punished in winter by heavy storms but in summer it shows its most docile face. We are surprised by the contrast between this hostile nature and the kindness of the refined Donostia.
We will finish the trip visiting Santa Clara Island. It is one of the almost virgin redoubts of the city. Only accessible by boat, no one lives in it. Its small beach is crowded in the sunniest days but it remains deserted as soon as the sky clouds. The lively pier on the pier offers us the opportunity to have an aperitif before returning to the beach.
